I bought the reverse MAX, it’s pretty nice looks good and the cubby instead of ashtray is nice. My only thing with the cup holder is that it doesn’t really fit cans. They are able to move around a lot and I just don’t trust that they wouldn’t spill when driving around with an open can. So if you have a lot of drinks that come in a can this cup holder might not be for you
The XL adapter solves this problem! the e36 center console is not wide enough to fit cans thats why we designed this
As per the title it is still a small cup hole. Works great for a paper coffee cup but not so much for a travel mug.
However, the major improvement (and its a big one) is that is sits so much lower. You completely remove the original cup holder trim that holds all the modules, so this item sits pretty much directly on the tunnel but still fits tight into place. I didn't even feel the need to screw it down
I have an armrest on my car and have got used to driving with it down because it was annoying to flip up and down. With cupholder the cup so low enough that its not in the way of the shifter at all.
I only gave it a 4 star because its a very simple 3D printed piece that clearly shows the layers and must have a very low production cost. I know that we are paying for all the R&D but still

Very good quality and perfect fit for BMW E36. Installation was easy and the design looks clean and factory-like. Holds cups securely without any movement. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade the interior.

I like these cupholders way more than the ones that come with the car. The storage tray is 10x better than a ashtray. If I purchased this again I would get the one without the phone section as the divider is not great. 10/10 recommend to anyone who doesnt like the stock cupholder
Thanks for the kind words! If you have a Rendition E36 Phone mount then yes the devider is absolutely useless lol, but you could always remove it and toss it away :)
