Too close to guage cluster for wireless charger compatibility

I tried to use this with my belkin magsafe wireless charger. I quickly noticed that the mount placed the charger too close to the gauge cluster which caused the dashboard to force the charger to face upward. It would be five stars if the position of the charger was slightly farther away from the cluster, making it more campatible with other phone mounts and more visually appealing in my opinion. I guess you could get away with making the ball joint petrude further away from the air vent but that wouldn't look as good as something flush.

Hey Evan,

The whole reason we designed a low profile mounting solution is not to block the AC vent from blowing them sweaty hands when driving fast. We never had a bulky wireless charger in mind when we made this. As for extending the ball joint, it will make the phone mount more unstable due to more leverage, especially when you mount a heavier phone not even mentioning your wiresless charger here. We want our mounts to withstand track use hence the trade off. The longer neck will eaither result in the plastic part breaking or your AC vent teared apart potentially (depending on the charger or phone). Anyway we still appreciate your feedback, and if theres anything custom solution we can make for your car please dont hesitate to contact us!
