I like these cupholders way more than the ones that come with the car. The storage tray is 10x better than a ashtray. If I purchased this again I would get the one without the phone section as the divider is not great. 10/10 recommend to anyone who doesnt like the stock cupholder
Thanks for the kind words! If you have a Rendition E36 Phone mount then yes the devider is absolutely useless lol, but you could always remove it and toss it away :)

It has to be perfect! We dont want things that dont fit our own car, and we hope this experience serves our customers too!
So I promised myself I’d never put anything 3D printed in my car because the texture and finish on them was typically 3 out of 10 at best. This was really super well done, I’d say about 7 out of 10. The fit is really amazing, although there is a hole in the bottom that could be for a fastener or a light or a power cord pass through, but they don’t say (or at least I missed it. Also, the black plastic doesn’t quite match the e36 bmw black of the rest of the black center console. But I had a feeling it wouldn’t. So… a great idea might be to lightly prep sand the surface and then texture paint the peice to a matching black and similar texture - the current interior plastic paints and texture paints have gotten to be amazingly good. While this part isn’t perfect, it had really good thought put into it. The cup holders going toward the back and the stuff holder near the shifter is a really useful change. Also just a generous stuff holder is very welcome in these cars as they have nearly none. A fantastic update would be to have a soft rubber mat that fits in the bottom of the square storage area. Otherwise, I’m fairly happy with this and looking forward to living with it. So far I’ve spent zero time driving with it because the car is being fully restored, but I looked very closely at it and it seems really a good fit. Let’s see. Thanks guys.
Love your honest review! We really put a lot of love and thought into a single cupholder, since we use these cars on a daily basis too, we wouldnt make it how it is if we dont want to have them in our own car.
For sure we 100% agree that adding matching paint, rubber pad, and other details would be fantastic for this product but just imagine how much labour cost customers would have to pay extra for? We would love to make it happen for ppl if they are willing to cover the labour cost but the leadtime will be crazy if it has to go thru sanding painting and what not. Our team is not that big and we try the best we can to deliver a good product while still feeding our staffs. If this is something you absolutely want to we will make it happen for you nonetheless.
