Overview

A modular upgrade for the BMW E36 switch panel area.

These modules replace the original blank switch covers and let you add modern functions without cutting the console or installing random universal parts. Choose from USB charging, volt meter, I/O switch, secondary horn button, USB passthrough, phone mount base, or blank covers.

Each module is designed to fit the factory switch panel location with an OEM style textured finish, keeping the interior clean while adding functions that actually make sense in a modern E36.

I/O Switch
A clean switch module for auxiliary functions such as lighting, fan control, accessories, or other custom wiring setups.
Trigger Button
A compact button module that can be used for a secondary horn or custom trigger function.
USB Passthrough
A head unit USB extension module. Useful for routing a stereo or CarPlay head unit USB input to the switch panel area.
Ball Joint + Magnetic Mount
A compact mounting solution for adding a magnetic phone mount in the switch panel area. Ideal for Air Suspension controller
17 mm Ball Joint
A universal 17 mm ball mount base for compatible phone holders or accessories.
Blank Cover
A clean replacement blank for unused switch locations.

Fitment

Fits BMW E36 Sedan, Coupe, Touring, and Convertible.

Remove the original blank switch cover.
Insert the selected Rendition module into the factory switch panel location.
Slide in the rear securing pin.
Connect the included wiring to a suitable 12V power source.
Test the function before final assembly.

No cutting, drilling, or permanent modification is required for standard installation.

For charging modules, we recommend wiring to ignition switched 12V unless you specifically want constant power.
