Jake-e36 I deleted the armrest cause I was annoyed by it hitting my elbow. I spent awhile trying to find a center console without a armrest but it seems like nobody tries to sell them. This is the perfect solution
10/10 would purchase again if I got another e36
It even comes with a little bracket to secure the center console without the armrest

Many ppl hate the idea that we are deleting the armrest but ppl like you are definitely not the minority, the armrest is very annoying for sure! esp for manual users
